FAQ

Common Questions

1When should I book my first prenatal appointment?
Ideally, schedule your first antenatal visit as soon as you confirm pregnancy, typically between 6–10 weeks. Early care ensures optimal monitoring of both mother and baby throughout the pregnancy.
2How often should women have a Pap smear?
Women aged 21–65 should have a Pap smear every 3 years. Women aged 30–65 can opt for Pap + HPV co-testing every 5 years. Dr. Abha will guide you based on your specific history and risk factor
3What are the signs of high-risk pregnancy?
High-risk factors include multiple pregnancies, pre-existing conditions (diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders), advanced maternal age, previous pregnancy complications, and certain infections during pregnancy.
4Is normal delivery possible after a C-section?
VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) is possible for many women. Dr. Abha evaluates each case individually, considering uterine scar type, hospital facilities, and individual risk factors carefully.
5At what age should HPV vaccination be given?
HPV vaccination is recommended for girls aged 9–14 (most effective before sexual debut). It can be given up to age 45. Dr. Abha recommends all eligible girls and women get vaccinated for cervical cancer prevention.
